August 1 - Day 1: Depart for Lisbon WYD 2023
SANDIEGO - LISBON
Depart San Diego for Portugal, Lisbon. Your flight includes meals, drinks, and in-.‐flight entertainment.
August 2 - Day 2: Lisbon
Lisbon
Upon arrival in Lisbon, We will be met by LPP staff member at the airport. Then we continue on a panoramictour of the city on the way to our WYD accommodaions.

August 3 - Day 3: World Youth Day Lisbon
Catechesis (teaching) sessions in the morning and festival events in the afernoon and evening.
August 4 - Day 4: World Youth Day Lisbon
Enjoy organized World Youth Day Events in the different languages. In the evening, arrival and welcoming the Holy Father.
August 5 - Day 5: World Youth Day Lisbon
Lisbon WYD
Catechesis (teaching) sessions in the morning. Stations of the Cross a re-enhactment of our Lord's Passion and Death in the agernoon and evening.
August 6 - Day 6: World Youth Day Lisbon
Today, we will have the World Youth Day Mass. The Mass will be concelebrated by the Pope with thousands of bishops and priests from all over the world. Meeting with all the participants of the WYD. Dinner and overnight.
August 7 - Day 7: Lisbon – Fatima
Today we will Travel to Fatima. First Stop will be to adjustrel the hometown of the three sheperds Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco. We will continue then to Valinos the site of Our Lady's August 1917 apparition, and the first and third apparition of the Angel. We will celebrate the station of the cross and we will have a moment of meditation on the Fatima messages. We will continue then to Fatima where we will accommodate in our hotel and we will have time for lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Basilica of Fatima with the graves of the sheperds and concelebrate mass at the chapel of the apparition. We will visit then the museum Faces of Fatima where is conserved the Bullet that wounded Jhon Paul II. Dinner in our hotel. After Dinner we will join the Rosary and the torchlight procession. August 8 - Day 8: Fatima – Porrino
This morning we will leave Fatima and we will travel To Porino. We drive 320 Km. We will stop in Coimbra to visit the center of the city and the monastery were sister Lucia lived and in Braga to climb the Bom Jesus do Monte. Arrival in Porino in the late afternoon and Holy Mass .

August 9 - Day 9: Porino - Redondela
This morning we will start our first Camino stage walking 16.5KM. We will walk through pines and eucalyptus forests up to the Sea of the Vigos Fjord.

August 10 - Day 10: Redondela - Pontevedra
This morning we continue to second stage of the Camino. We will walk 18.2KM toward Pontevedra. We will walk along the Vigos Fjord looking at the islands of Saint Simon and Antony. At the arrival in Pontevedra in the afternoon, we will visit the Church of the Virgin Pilgrim, and have Mass.

August 11 - Day 8: The Camino: Pontevedra- Caldas de Reis – 15 mls
The Camino: Pontevedra- Caldas de Reis – 15 m
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the first stage of our Portuguese way. We will leave Pontevedra behind us through the Rua da Santina and we continue then uphill to Pontecabras and the church of Santa Maria de Alba. After the chapel of San Caetano awaits us a sylvan landscape that will accompany us on our way to Caldas de Reis our today's destination. Caldas is a spa town already famous as the Acquae Celenis before the third century. Holy Mass.

August 12 - Day 12: The Camino, Caldas de Reis – Padron – 12 m
The Camino, Caldas de Reis – Padron – 12m
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the second stage of our Portuguese way. Today's journey begins uphill to Santa Maria de Carracedo. We then continue through Casalderrique and Casal de Eixirio. A panorama dotted with various water mills accompanies us up to Cimadevilla and then goes up to the panoramic spot of Pino Manso from where you can enjoy a wide view of the Ulla river’s valley. The Way then passes through Pontecesures to enter Padron through the Campo de la Feira up to the church of Santiago de Padron. Holy Mass.

August 13 - Day 13: The Camino, Padron - Santiago de Compostela – 16m
The Camino, Padron - Santiago de Compostela – 16m
Breakfast at the hotel and departure for the last stage of our Portuguese way. We will leave Padron crossing the Sar river to the ancient Iria Flavia which was a Roman city and Episcopal seat. We will continue then to the sanctuary of A Escravitude and we go down to Angueira de Suso. Next step is OMilladoiro, where the pilgrims humiliated themselves and knelt down watching the Cathedral of Santiago for the first time. Our walk continue to Santiago de Compostela entering the old city through Porta Faxeira, the rua deFranco and Plaza As Praterias . We will arrive then in Obradoiro Square, the final destination of our journey. We will entry into the Cathedral, and we will have the Pilgrim's Mass at 12.00.
Accommodation at the San Martin Pinario Convent Guest House. Dinner and overnight.
August 14 - Day 12: Santiago de Compostela

Breakfast in Hotel. Morning dedicated to the visit of the City of Santiago and its fantastic square: Plaza de l’Obradoiro, de la Quintana e de la Imaculada. Visit of the Cathedral and Holy Mass. In the afternoon hd escursion to Cabo Finisterre and Muxia.
Dinner and overnight.
August 15 - Day 15: Depart back home
Travel back home
This morning we leave Santiago de Compostela for our return flight(s) home with the unforgettable images and feeling of this experience of faith.
