We thank you for your enrollment in the pilgrimage.

We recommend all travelers purchase a travel protection plan to help protect you and your trip investment so you can relax, enjoy your trip and make memories for a lifetime!  Making this important decision now will can help protect your investment against unforeseen events such as flight delays, baggage loss or even an unexpected sickness or injury which could impact your travel plans.

These plans offer coverage for Trip Cancellation, Trip Interruption, Emergency Medical and Emergency Evacuation/Repatriation, Travel Delay, Baggage Delay, and more.

There are two types of Travelex Insurance coverage.

1. Cancellation Travel Insurance which offers coverage for the cost of the entire pilgrimage before and after departure. This coverage can provide protection should certain unforeseen events occur before the departure date which would not allow you to travel. This coverage also offers you protection and assistance for certain unforeseen events that may occur while you are traveling during your pilgrimage.

B. Travelex Ultimate plan - Pre-existing medical conditions are eligible for coverage when you purchase within 21 days of your initial trip deposit. Also, the optional “Cancel for Any Reason” upgrade is only available with the ULTIMATE PLAN within 21 days of your initial trip deposit.

• Please note The ULITMATE PLAN purchased after 21 days of enrollment will not be eligible for pre-existing medical condition coverage. All policies must be purchased 24 hours prior to the date of travel.

2. Post Departure Travel Insurance - This type of coverage offers you protection and assistance for certain unforeseen events that may occur while you are traveling, and it only offers coverage while on your pilgrimage.

Please remember to check with your medical insurance provider or Medicare to ascertain if your coverage applies internationally. Also, inquire as to whether or not you need to bring pre-authorization forms should medical attention be required. (It is recommended to purchase insurance if your personal medical provider does not cover you internationally).
